SSA Releases W-2 Electronic Filing Specifications for Tax Year 2015

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has released its W-2 electronic filing specifications for the 2015 tax year.

Specifications for Filing Form W-2 Electronically: Submitting Annual W-2 Copy A Information to the Social Security Administration (SSA Pub. No. 42-007) and Specifications for Filing Forms W-2c Electronically: Submitting Annual W-2c (Correction) Copy A Information to the Social Security Administration (SSA Pub. No. 42-014) are available for download on the SSA’s website.

These documents (EFW2 and EFW2C) contain specs for electronically filing W-2 Copy A and Form W-2c Copy A.
