GTM Provides Automated W-2 Import Service for Clients’ Employees
CLIFTON PARK, NY – (December 12, 2016) – GTM Payroll Services, a leader in the household employment and business payroll industries, has partnered with TurboTax to offer employees of their clients an automated W-2 import service.
Employees of GTM clients can now safely and securely import their W-2s into TurboTax at no cost. Our new TurboTax partnership uses multi-factor authentication and 256 bit encryption to automatically enter W-2 information. Over 1.4 million employers currently offer this benefit to
nearly half the nation’s employees.
Most importantly, employees who import their W-2 are significantly less likely to be impacted by tax refund fraud. By enabling W-2 Import, GTM is aligning with the IRS’s recommended best practices in this fight.
The service is completely free to both employers and employees, and is available throughout both the regular and extended tax seasons, ending on October 15th.
