1. Can I legally install a nanny cam in my home?<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s legal in all 50 states to make a video-only recording of what\u2019s happening in your home. You don\u2019t need to tell your nanny you\u2019ve installed a hidden camera.<\/p>\n

While you may have the right to use a nanny cam in your home, those rights are waived if you engage in criminal behavior.<\/p>\n

A nanny cam can only be used for acceptable and reasonable purposes like monitoring your child\u2019s safety or preventing theft.
