Employers should take note of the important information below from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.e-verify.gov\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">e-verify.gov<\/a>\u00a0pertaining to Form I-9s and creating E-Verify cases:<\/p>\n<h1>Creating E-Verify Cases<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Now that E-Verify operations have resumed, employers who participate in E-Verify must create an E-Verify case by February 11, 2019, for each employee hired while E-Verify was not available. You must use the hire date from the employee\u2019s Form I-9 when creating the E-Verify case.
