{"id":4664,"date":"2017-07-14T12:29:13","date_gmt":"2017-07-14T16:29:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gtm.com\/business\/?p=4664"},"modified":"2024-08-30T11:13:13","modified_gmt":"2024-08-30T15:13:13","slug":"revised-form-i-9-september-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gtm.com\/business\/revised-form-i-9-september-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Employers Must Use Revised Form I-9 in September 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong><span style=\"color: red;\">UPDATE: the new Form I-9 must be used for all new hires beginning today, September 18, 2017.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will release a new Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, on Monday, July 17.\u00a0Employers will be able to use this revised version immediately, but may continue using the <a href=\"https:\/\/gtm.com\/business\/new-form-i-9-released\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Form I-9 with a revision date of 11\/14\/16<\/a> through September 17, 2017.
