This system will be available very soon from the NYS Department of Labor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">SIDES helps\u00a0employers respond to questions about\u00a0their former employees\u2019 termination quickly and completely. This prevents payments from going to people who have not earned benefits, while preserving the integrity of the UI trust fund and\u00a0the employer account. Preventing fraud ultimately saves employers money.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For information about the benefits of SIDES and how to sign up, please download the <a title=\"SIDESfacts\" href=\"https:\/\/www.labor.ny.gov\/formsdocs\/ui\/p821.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fact Sheet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em><strong>Please note:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 SIDES has specific system requirements, which are available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/info.uisides.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SIDES website<\/a>.\u00a0The NYS Dept. of Labor suggests\u00a0checking these requirements now so\u00a0employers are prepared to use SIDES when it becomes available through the NYS Department of Labor website.
