The amendments became effective on the date they were adopted.<\/p>\n<h2>Required Workplace Posting Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>Under federal and state laws, New York employers must display several required workplace posters. These posters provide official summaries of employee rights and employer obligations. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dol.gov\/general\/topics\/posters\">U.S. Department of Labor<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/dol.ny.gov\/posting-requirements-0\">New York Department of Labor<\/a> make these required posters available to employers free of charge on their respective websites.<\/p>\n<p>Required posters and notices must be displayed in a conspicuous place. State law requires that posters be displayed on each floor of the premises.<\/p>\n<h2>Digital Labor Poster Notification<\/h2>\n<p>The new amendments require employers to provide digital versions of federal- and state-required workplace posters through the employer\u2019s website or via email.<\/p>\n<h2>Impact on Employers<\/h2>\n<p>New York employers subject to workplace poster laws are affected by this requirement.
