General Ledger Reporting

When the General Ledger is not balancing, it can take a large amount of time to investigate every detail.

It makes sense to utilize this product since all businesses must enter the accounting information GTM calculates during the payroll process into their accounting system.  Using the general ledger reporting feature will ensure accuracy and efficiency for this process.  Your Chart of Accounts and General Ledger report are integrated into a custom layout, and then the General Ledger Posting Summary Report is generated and disbursed with your payroll package for easy transfer to your General Ledger.

Our General Ledger Reporting and Exporting tools enhance management controls and reduce potential fraud.  The General Ledger Export provided by GTM creates a general ledger file which can be imported into clients’ specific accounting software providing:

  • Real Time – make more informed decisions (versus waiting for postings) when payroll entries are imported to the General Ledger with easy
  • Accurate – actual dollars from payroll processes are reported to appropriate account numbers on General Ledger; this limits the margin for error in re-entering information
  • Efficient – the client has debits/credits already supplied to appropriate account number on General Ledger, saving the client valuable time by having to re-enter this information into the General Ledger
  • Customization – GTM can customize the General Ledger Export to suit the client’s individual specifications.

This service provides an accurate, detailed cost breakdown by department that is documented on our Labor Distribution report. 401(k) Reporting

Reduce the administrative burden of a 401(k) plan, 403(b), or other retirement plans.  GTM will produce the contribution report within your plan administrator’s requirements, relieving you of this time consuming responsibility.

When you subscribe, your Third Party Administrator’s (TPA) required reporting format is applied.  If no TPA report exists yet for your plan, GTM will collect the necessary criteria needed and create a  custom report based on your specific needs and criteria.
